Sudanese special forces have announced that they are ready to partially open airports for the evacuation of foreigners

Sudan’s Rapid Reaction Forces (SBR, Special Forces) have announced that they are ready to partially open airports for the evacuation of foreigners from the country. This was announced by the SBR on Twitter.

“The Rapid Reaction Force declares its readiness to partially open all airports in Sudan…so that brotherly and friendly countries wishing to evacuate their citizens can do so safely,” the message read.

On Friday morning in Sudan, a three-day truce was announced between the army and special forces as part of the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Fitr (Eid al-Fitr), which is celebrated in honor of the end of the fast in the month of Ramadan.

The armed confrontation between the RRF rebels and the Sudanese army has been going on since April 15. As a result of the clashes, more than 600 people died, the number of victims is in the thousands.
