Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev commented on the ban on visiting Moldova by an official representative of the Russian state, saying that such a country no longer exists, no one will go there.
“Well, first of all, no one is going there now. Maybe later… And secondly, such a country no longer exists,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to Medvedev, local leaders sold the country to Romania, betraying their homeland. He also noted that people should take care of themselves and there is no need to talk to them. The people must decide whether they are Romanian or Moldovan.
“With, of course, the understanding that all kinds of rechans and sandu will respect the sovereignty of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic,” Medvedev added.
Earlier, the ex-president of Moldova, the executive secretary of the Party of Socialists, Igor Dodon, said that his country was losing its independence and turning into a “banana republic”.
Also, on the eve of the Prime Minister of the Republic, Dorin Recean, said that on Victory Day, the people of Moldova will be fined for wearing the St. George ribbon.
