Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Russian armed forces attacked the headquarters of the Ukrainian armed forces to disrupt a large-scale offensive

Russian troops attacked the headquarters and bases of the Ukrainian army as a preventive measure to disrupt the announced offensive by the Kiev regime in the Donbass. This opinion was expressed by military analyst Yuri Knutov in a comment to Moskovsky Komsomolets.

The publication’s interlocutor noted that the Russian armed forces carried out a massive and high-precision attack. The loss of a significant number of officers, he said, will significantly affect the capabilities of Ukrainian units.

Knutov added that the RF Armed Forces used long-range missiles X-101 and X-555, which have high guidance accuracy. This made it possible to carry out an operation aimed at defeating established targets, including one of the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where high-ranking Ukrainian and foreign military personnel were located.

“This is a heavy blow. Because now preparations are underway for the offensive, the headquarters is working around the clock, from there comes the command and control of the troops of the Kiev regime, which will have to operate in different directions. And a strike on the staff before an offensive disrupts or disorganizes it,” the military analyst explained.

On Friday, the Defense Ministry reported that Russian missile forces struck the Joint Defense Headquarters in Artyomovsk and “Foreign Legion” units stationed near Konstantinovka.
