In the morning, rail communication in the direction of Unecha will be restored, wrote the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, on his Telegram channel. He added that additional buses will be temporarily launched there, which will transport passengers from Unecha to Pochep station.
According to the head of the region, two locomotives and seven wagons derailed. The other cars were driven to a safe distance. There were no casualties.
Earlier, Alexander Bogomaz reported that an explosive device detonated at the 136th kilometer of the Bryansk-Unecha railway line, and then a freight train derailed. The train included tanks with petroleum products and wagons with construction cargo. The locomotive and two tanks caught fire. Traffic on this section of the railway has been interrupted.
An operational headquarters has been organized at the accident site, Russian Railways emergency rescue teams and operational services are working.
