German newspaper Bild gave a risk assessment for German Leopard tanks supplied to Ukraine. They noted three types of Russian weapons that threaten them the most.
Leopards, according to German journalists, should avoid modern Russian anti-tank systems with guided missiles. According to Bild, they were created specifically to deal with German tanks and can penetrate more than a meter of homogeneous steel armor.
Also, among the threats, anti-tank mines TM – 62 and mines created on their basis were noted.
And Russian tanks round out the top three threats to the Leopards.
Earlier, Czech General Jiří Šedivy spoke about the vulnerability of Leopard tanks.
