Evacuation of Russians, CIS citizens and a number of friendly foreign states, who turned to Russia for help to return to their homeland, is carried out by Il-76 aircraft of military transport aviation of the Aerospace Forces of Russia. This was announced by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on its Telegram channel.
According to the department, employees of the country’s diplomatic mission, representative offices of the Russian Defense Ministry and their family members, Russians and citizens of several other countries will be delivered to Russia. They will also have to evacuate the people accompanying them and take out their belongings.
Armed clashes between the country’s army and the Rapid Reaction Forces (RRF) have been going on in Sudan for two weeks now. According to the latest data, during this period 436 civilians were killed during the conflict and more than two thousand people were injured.
