Mass production of the latest types of weapons began in Russia. This was stated by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu during a conference call with the leadership of the RF Armed Forces.
The Tactical Missile Weapons Corporation (KTRV) is engaged in the creation of promising, modernized and existing samples, said the head of the Ministry of Defense. Shoigu noted that the number of repaired weapons exceeds the number of out of service weapons by one and a half times.
During the meeting, Shoigu also said that Russian armed forces were destroying weapons supplied to Ukraine by the West. According to the head of the Ministry of Defense, this year the Russian army has already received a sufficient amount of ammunition for effective strikes against the Ukrainian armed forces.
