The Russian Embassy in Poland has sent a protest note to the country’s Foreign Ministry regarding the seizure of the Russian school building in Warsaw. It is reported by TASS.
“The embassy has sent a protest note to the Polish Foreign Ministry,” the embassy said.
Recall that on April 29 in Warsaw, the local authorities and the police broke down the door and seized the school of the Russian Embassy. The diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation was forced to obey Poland’s demands and leave the building.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called the seizure of the school a provocation, noting that Warsaw has violated international law, bilateral agreements and national law for many years.
Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, believes that it makes no sense for Russia to maintain diplomatic relations with Poland while Russophobes are in power in this country.
