Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Deputy head of the Kherson Regional Council Sobolevsky hailed the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces as the start of a counter-offensive

The Ukrainian army has recently behaved actively in the direction of the south, its actions there can be called the beginning of a counteroffensive. This opinion was shared by the deputy head of the Kherson Regional Council appointed by the Kyiv regime, Yuri Sobolevsky, whose remarks are quoted by CNN.

He explained his point of view by the fact that all military operations of Ukrainian troops in the mentioned direction should be considered precisely in the context of counteroffensive measures. Sobolevsky also said that it makes no sense to wait for the announcement of a specific date for the start of the counteroffensive. In his opinion, the Ukrainian authorities will not make a corresponding statement.

Earlier on Tuesday, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken hinted that Kyiv could launch a counteroffensive in the coming weeks. How soon will this happen, he did not specify.
