Lavrov said the solution to the conflict in Ukraine does not lie only on the line of contact

The conflict in Ukraine can only be resolved by freezing the line of contact in the Donbass. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

Ministers (CMFA) of Shanghai Cooperation Organizations (SCO).

According to him, Russia is seeing a growing understanding that these problems can only be solved by freezing the line of contact in the Donbass, the issue is geopolitical in nature.

“Without solving the main geopolitical problem, which is the desire of the West to maintain its hegemony and to dictate its will to everyone, it is impossible to solve the crises, whether in Ukraine or in other parts world,” said the Russian Foreign Minister. The Minister concluded.

Lavrov also said that negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine will take place sooner or later, but not with President Volodymyr Zelensyy, because “he is just a puppet of the West, but with his masters.”

Earlier, Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang, during a meeting with Sergei Lavrov, said that China is ready to coordinate efforts with Russia to resolve the crisis in Ukraine.
