Chechen Republic leader Ramzan Kadyrov said Ahmad special forces units are ready to move to Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (Ukrainian name is Bakhmut).
Kadyrov said the fighters were ready to enter the city and were waiting for the appropriate order. Several units have already left in the direction of hostilities on the territory of Ukraine.
“In the near future, we will liberate the city, despite all sorts of things about some kind of terrible counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. We have already begun to develop our action strategy in this area, together with the Ministry of the Defense of the Russian Federation, taking into account the tactics of the enemy and the resources available to us. And believe me, the tactics will bring positive results,” Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel.
Recall that on May 5, Yevgeny Prigozhin announced that Wagner PMC will leave Artemovsk (Bakhmut) on May 10. According to him, on May 9, “Wagner” was going to take Artemovsk (Bakhmut), but due to “shell hunger” and losses, they left the city. Later, Ramzan Kadyrov said that the Ahmad special forces were ready to replace the PMC Wagner in Artemovsk (Bakhmut).
On May 6, the head of the PMC Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, confirmed that he was ready to transfer posts in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) to Ahmad.
