Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain with thunder in many areas of the country.
According to IMD, the capital Delhi is likely to record minimum temperature of 19 degree Celsius and maximum temperature of 34 degree Celsius on Friday. Partly cloudy sky is expected in Delhi. A warning of thunderstorm and rain has been issued here on May 6 and 7.
Rain alert in these states
According to IMD, a warning of heavy rain with thunderstorm has been issued in Andaman and Nicobar between May 7 and 9. Along with this, there is a possibility of light to heavy rains in Jammu-Kashmir and Tamil Nadu. Scattered light rain may occur over Western Himalayas and Arunachal Pradesh. Light snowfall can be seen in the higher reaches.
Heavy rain warning has been issued in some areas of Northeast India, Sikkim, South Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Marathwada. Also, heavy rain is likely at many places over Gangetic West Bengal, Kerala, South India Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Bihar, Jharkhand, Interior Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
