Governor Razvozzhaev says air defense and electronic warfare forces repelled Ukrainian drone attack on Sevastopol

Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev announced that on the night of Sunday, May 7, air defense and electronic warfare forces repelled an enemy drone attack on the city. The message was posted on the Governor’s Telegram channel.

He said an unmanned aerial vehicle crashed in the forest, its wreckage was discovered by law enforcement and emergency services, two others were shot down over the sea near the Cape Khersones and from the side of the northern pier.

“The objects in the city were not damaged. All services continue to monitor the situation,” Razvozhaev wrote.

According to the governor, a total of more than ten drones were sent to Crimea and Sevastopol that night.

Previously, Russian air defense systems destroyed Ukrainian drones in the Kherson region, which were trying to attack residential areas in four settlements.
