Zakhar Prilepin said that immediately after the explosion he began to communicate with his relatives and issue the necessary orders. According to the writer, he asked to bring the phone from the car.
“I immediately gave all the orders, because everything was clear as soon as I woke up. Then a neighbor gave me anesthesia,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to Prilepin, he lost consciousness for about three minutes. Then he woke up and crawled to the broken windshield, and the locals who came running pulled him out.
The writer said that both of his legs were broken, a fracture was open.
Previously, images taken immediately after the explosion of Prilepin’s car were published. Local residents provided first aid to the injured.
The day before after the operation, Prilepin was put into a drug sleep, later it was reported that he was conscious.
An Audi Q7 car with Prilepin exploded around 11 a.m. in the Borsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation called the attack a terrorist act.
The car exploded laying two anti-tank mines on the way. One of them worked. The explosion killed the driver and the security guard of Prilepin with the call sign “Angry”.
In a hot pursuit, two people were arrested, believed to be involved in the assassination attempt. One of them confessed.
