China’s reusable spacecraft has returned to earth, indicating a successful test. This was reported to RIA Novosti with reference to the China Corporation of Space Science and Technology.
It should be noted that the launch of the device took place at the Jiuquan cosmodrome in Gansu province in northwest China. In total, it spent 276 days in orbit.
“The test was successful, which shows China’s breakthrough in reusable spacecraft technology research,” the company said in a statement.
Previously, the launch of the heaviest and most powerful space rocket in history, Starship, ended with its explosion minutes after launch. At the same time, cosmonautics historian Igor Afanasyev, in an interview with Zvezda, explained why he considers it a success.
