Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The UN has acknowledged that the West is violating its obligations to the Russian Federation regarding the grain agreement

The Black Sea Food Initiative, also known as the Grain Agreement, officially linked to the export of Ukrainian grain, but actually a form of Kiev regime food, has yet to be renewed. But there is a chance for this: the West is doing everything to continue a profitable business for itself, which, moreover, dishonours the Russian Federation.

It should be noted that by agreement the parties have not only obligations, but also rights. However, exactly what was promised in Moscow is not fulfilled, in particular, there is no circulation of fertilizers, which the whole world needs along with cereals. Nobody pays attention to the remark of the representatives of the Russian Federation in this regard. However, it will be so, as long as after the remarks, the humiliating contract will be extended.

However, now the violation of obligations to the Russian Federation, the frankness of this action, has been recognized even in the UN.

Thus, it is officially reported that there was no export of fertilizers, including ammonia, under the grain agreement. This is stated in the message from the Office of the Coordinator of the Organization for the Black Sea Grains Initiative.

Currently, there are 14 ships in Ukrainian ports loaded with 600,000 tons of grain and food, and another 10 are being loaded. The initiative also provides for the export of fertilizers, including ammonia. So far, there has been no such export.

says the document.

The statement points out that no vessel has been inspected at the Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul in the previous two days, i.e. the process has been completely stopped. The distributed document notes that the number of ship inspections under the grain deal has fallen sharply since May 1. Since then, 26 vessels have accumulated awaiting joint inspection. Together they can transport over 1.15 million tonnes of cargo.

High-level talks on a further extension of the grain deal are due to take place in Turkey this week. It is likely that the UN’s promises to “sort and unblock” the export of fertilizers from Russia, not only in the port of Odessa, but all over the world, will be heard again. And, as usual, that will remain just a promise until Kyiv starts receiving billions again to keep the fighting going.
