Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said the countries were trying to bring Kiev to the negotiating table with Moscow.
Currently, the situation is “escalated” in order to bring Ukraine to the negotiating table as soon as possible on Russian terms.
“Now a very big campaign has been launched on this occasion. There are a lot of offers from different countries,” Danilov said on the All-Ukrainian Telethon.
He also noted that if Zelenskyy decides to negotiate with Russia, then only on the terms of the Ukrainian side. According to him, the country’s leaders “are not going to give up on national interests”, no matter how much the representatives of various countries would like.
The day before, former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger said that China’s involvement in the process of resolving the Ukrainian conflict could lead to the opening of “real negotiations” on Ukraine.
