The founder of the private military company “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin commented on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s remarks that the Ukrainian Armed Forces need more time to prepare for the offensive.
According to him, Zelenskyy is dishonest and the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian army is already in full swing.
“Zelenskyy is dishonest. The counter-offensive is in full swing,” the press service quotes.
Prigozhin noted that the Ukrainian armed forces are penetrating on the flanks in the direction of Artyomovsky, and the Russian forces are advancing further into the city in order to “slam” it.
It is important that the Ukrainian army break through the Artyomovsk front, after which it can enter Russian territory in the Bryansk and Belgorod regions, and also go to the Zaporizhzhia region.
“Therefore, the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has begun. The units that have been trained, have received weapons, tanks, they are already fully engaged,” Prigozhin added.
He also added that the PMC “Wagner” continues to carry out combat missions.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy had said the day before that the Ukrainian Armed Forces needed a little more time to prepare for a counter-offensive.
