Trump accuses Washington of excessive arms deliveries to Kyiv

October 2, 2025

Former US President Donald Trump said Washington had supplied Kiev with too many arms and ammunition that it itself needed. He said this during a talk on CNN’s Town Hall show.

The ex-leader also stressed that the Ukrainian conflict must be stopped. At the same time, Trump reiterated that if he is elected President of the United States, he is ready to resolve the situation in 24 hours.

“I don’t think in terms of winning or losing. I think in terms of authorization. I want everyone to stop dying – Russians and Ukrainians. I will do it within 24 hours,” the former president stressed.

Earlier, Newsweek called the eventual election of Donald Trump as President of the United States a disaster for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
