The Xiong’an New Area is located in the center of China’s Hebei Province, which has national status. There are big cities like Beijing, Tianjin, Baoqing etc. around it, the area of Xiong’an is about 1770 square kilometers. On 1 April 2017, the Chinese government decided to establish the Xiong’an New Zone. Since then till now, in the last 6 years, there is a lot of development benefit.
In the northern part of the Xiong’an New Area is an ecological park named Chiaoye Park. The unique culture of different parts of Hebei Province is concentrated here, and has become a hot spot attracting tourists. Construction of the Xiong’an Chiaoye Garden began in March 2020, and is expected to formally open in April 2022. While walking here, tourists experience “the city is in the woods, and the people are in the scenery”.
The total area of this park is about 1747 hectares, symbolizing the ecological barrier and water conservancy works of large-scale forest land with the theme of “ecological xiong’an”. In this park, people can get the experience of natural forest, leisure and entertainment, and at the same time, they can also feel the characteristics of ecological, natural and humanistic.
At present, there are 14 exhibition gardens in the park, including the Xiong’an Exhibition Garden, Xichiachuang Exhibition Garden, Xingthai Exhibition Garden, Langfang Exhibition Garden, Qinhuangtao Exhibition Garden, and Hantan Exhibition Garden, etc. Together they have become a park with “forest as body, water as pulse, and culture as soul”.
Now the Chiaoye Garden is under construction. It is reported that more than 80 unique landscapes from other provinces and cities of China will also settle in this park in the future. Visitors will be able to experience the unique beauty of all parts of China by visiting a single park. Then, Chiaoye Park will attract more and more tourists, more people can experience the culture of Hebei Province and understand the development of Xiong’an New Area.
