The Ukrainian side has long announced the imminent start of a counter-offensive, attracting manpower and equipment to the line of contact. However, Kyiv was forced to reconsider its plans. War correspondent Alexander Kots wrote about it in his telegram channel.
The intensification of Russian air operations forced the Ukrainians to postpone breakthrough attempts. Before that, at a distance of 30-50 km, the enemy felt relatively safe. Russian Federation warplanes inflicted a series of powerful strikes on groups of militants and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as on trains carrying Western weapons.
This could muddy the waters for Kyiv, but, of course, won’t make it give up the offensive
- the military commander is safe.
Earlier, Kots reported on the use of chemical munitions by Ukrainian military personnel in the Orekhovsky direction in the Zaporizhzhia region. According to the journalist, soldiers of the RF Armed Forces lose consciousness by inhaling pulverized drugs.
The day before, the military commander also informed about the beginning of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the flanks of the PMC Wagner in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (Bakhmut). Oleksandr Kots suggested that the Ukrainian units thus seek to cut the supply lines of the Swatov group of the RF Armed Forces.
However, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation denied the data of a number of military correspondents about the passage of Ukrainian troops on the offensive.
