The condition of Russian director and screenwriter Gleb Panfilov, hospitalized on May 11 for pneumonia and a stroke, has improved. Mark Varshaver, director of the Lenkom Mark Zakharova Theater, told TASS about it.
“It’s a joyful event in the context of what was originally,” he said.
He noted that the director began to recognize his son, who is next to him, and give other signs that signal his subsequent recovery.
Earlier, Mark Varshaver denied reports about the deteriorating condition of the director. According to him, it is satisfactory – not the most serious that can be with a stroke. On the second day after the stroke, the director responded with his eyes and heard everything that was asked of him.
