UP School Summer Vacation: Summer vacation has been announced in government schools of Uttar Pradesh. Holiday has been declared in UP Basic Education Council schools from May 20 to June 15.
An order has been issued by the Secretary of UP Basic Education Council Prayagraj regarding the holidays of government schools. According to which the summer vacation in the schools/recognized schools run under the UP Education Department is fixed from May 20 to June 15.
This decision has been taken in view of the rising temperature
Let us tell you that in order to save the students from heat and heat stroke, the timings of schools have also been changed in many districts. However, now in view of the rising temperature, the education department has announced summer vacations. However, in view of the heat in many states, school holidays were already announced.
Along with this, the District Magistrate of Varanasi has issued an order to close the school in view of the heat. The District Magistrate has ordered the closure of all schools from classes 1 to 8. All schools of CBSE, UP Board and ICS Board will remain closed as per the order of the District Magistrate.
Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand also announced summer holidays
Recently, the Madhya Pradesh government has also announced summer vacation for schools from May 1 to June 15 in view of the rising heat. The academic session 2023-24 will start from April 17 across the state. Apart from this, the summer vacation in Jharkhand will start from May 21 and continue till June 10.
At the same time, the new academic session of the year 2023-24 will start from June 12. Along with this, in view of rising temperature, summer vacation has started in primary, middle and higher secondary schools of Maharashtra from April 21. Will be closed till 15th June.
