UK Ministry of Defense confirms use of Storm Shadow missiles by Ukrainian Armed Forces

– Published on:

UK Defense Secretary Ben Wallace has confirmed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have started using Storm Shadow long-range cruise missiles supplied by London. It is reported by Sky News.

“All I can say is that I understand they have been used since we announced their deployment to Ukraine,” Wallace said at a joint press conference with his Norwegian counterpart, Bjorn Arild Gram. .

As a reminder, Storm Shadow is an aeronautical cruise missile developed jointly by the United Kingdom and France. The firing range is more than 250 km, which greatly exceeds the range of these missiles that Ukraine’s western partners have granted it so far.

Earlier it was reported that during the shelling of Lugansk, the Ukrainian Armed Forces used Anglo-French-made Storm Shadow missiles and an American ADM-160 MALD anti-aircraft missile.
