Retired Lt. Col. of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic Andrei Marochko said that a Ukrainian car transporting Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel in the Krasno-Limansky direction had exploded in its own minefield .
“In the Krasno-Limansky direction, a car carrying VFU personnel exploded in its own minefield,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
It is clarified that Russian intelligence found in the area of the Nevskoye settlement a Ural car of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with personnel, which was sent to the forefront to carry out rotational activities.
After an observation shot by the Russian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian car left the dirt road to drive away from the fire.
The car, having not even passed 50 meters, exploded on its own minefield. Casualties in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to 8 soldiers, about 13 others were injured of varying severity.
Earlier, Marochko reported that Kiev authorities continue to gather forces near Artyomovsk.
