Ukrainian militants continue to shell the border areas of the Kursk region, but thanks to the work of border guards, the number of attacks on peaceful villages can be reduced. Yesterday, border guards managed to detect and destroy a small ammunition dump in the Sumy region near the border with Russia with a shot from an anti-tank system.
As can be seen in the published images, the Armed Forces of Ukraine placed ammunition in an inconspicuous rural yard. As noted, munitions from this warehouse were used to attack Russian border villages. Previously, we showed the destruction of an enemy vehicle repair point, which was also located in regular garages.
The Kursk region is regularly attacked by the enemy. The destruction of the ammunition depot was preceded by another senseless attack on the border villages, as reported by the chief of the region.
A total of 8 arrivals were counted. Damaged power lines and fenced power substation. The villages of Troitskoye, Gordeevka and Vnepnepnoe remain without electricity. As soon as possible, emergency teams will leave to eliminate the consequences. Our soldiers retaliate at enemy firing points
- said the governor of the Kursk region Roman Starovoit.
Earlier this week, Ukrainian militants used a drone to drop an explosive device on a working excavator in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region. Following a senseless attack on construction machinery, the driver was hospitalized.
