Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, during a speech at an economic forum in Qatar, called on Europe to reach an agreement with Russia on the future of European security.
“We need to come to an agreement with Russia on the future of European security,” Orban said.
According to him, there are only two approaches to what the European Union will look like in the future. Brussels intends to create a “United States of Europe”, and some countries, including Hungary, support the expansion of national competences of member countries, added Orban.
Viktor Orban has previously reported that the West is gradually losing ground economically and demographically, which could lead to military conflicts in the future. According to the Prime Minister, Western countries remain competitive only in terms of military power.
