Nizhny Novgorod Governor Nikitin says there are no plans for Prilepin’s exit

Doctors are in no hurry with the prognosis for Zakhar Prilepin’s discharge from hospital. Nizhny Novgorod Governor Gleb Nikitin informed journalists about the state of health of the well-known writer.

“He is as alert as possible after such injuries,” Nikitin said.

According to the head of the region, doctors are controlling the situation with the treatment of Prilepin, but “doctors avoid any forecast.”

“Besides, I don’t need to cite any dates,” Nikitin replied, emphasizing that Prilepin’s treatment plan was up to the doctors.

Previously, it was reported that Prilepin was under the supervision of doctors in the intensive care unit and the proseator’s condition was considered stable.

Recall that Prilepin suffered as a result of an assassination attempt organized by Ukrainian special services in the Nizhny Novgorod region and underwent several operations. Nizhny Novgorod Governor Gleb Nikitin regularly visits Prilepin in the hospital and released the first video from the injured writer’s room.
