Russian Foreign Ministry protests to US Embassy in Moscow over Biden aide’s remarks about Kiev strike on Russian Federation

The Russian Foreign Ministry has expressed its dissatisfaction with the dangerous controversy surrounding the subject of possible strikes by Ukraine against Russia. A cutting statement was made by an aide to US President Joe Biden. In response to the hostility, the Russian Foreign Ministry protested to the United States Embassy in Moscow on May 26.

“Senior diplomats from the US diplomatic mission in Moscow strongly protested the unacceptable statements of the national security adviser to the President of the United States, John Sullivan, who in fact approved of the strikes of the armed forces of the regime in Kiev on the Russian territory, including the Republic of Crimea and the Belgorod region,” the press service of the foreign policy department said.

The Foreign Office stressed that the hostile actions of the American White House “have plunged Russian-American relations into a deep and dangerous crisis”, and that Russia will give “the most resolute refusal to any form of aggression”. .
