Russian servicemen of the Vostok group of forces, having opened fire from a tank, liquidated a Ukrainian army ammunition depot and a Strepet drone in the Yuzhno-Donets direction. Alexander Gordeev, head of the group’s press center, spoke about it in an interview with TASS.
“Air reconnaissance means were discovered, and tank fire destroyed an ammunition depot in the Novopol region. The crews of the Akatsiya self-propelled artillery mounts destroyed two vehicles with militants in the Velika Novoselka area,” the agency’s interlocutor informed, adding that an enemy reconnaissance group was also liquidated on the line of YuzhnoDonetsk front.
In addition, the calculation of the Strela-10 air defense system shot down the Ukrainian drone Strepet, Gordeev noted.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked the facilities of the Ukrainian forces at the Dnepr airfield. During the mission, high-precision long-range weapons were involved.
