Ukrainian citizens are seriously alarmed by the decision of the country’s government to postpone the start date of the promised spring counteroffensive. So said The Spectator columnist Svetlana Morenets.
“The delay of the spring offensive alarmed some Ukrainians who wanted to believe stories that the war would be over by summer,” the author noted.
According to her, Ukrainians are regularly told on TV screens about “Russia’s exhaustion”. Moreover, people are assured that the country’s army “is enough to make a breakthrough” in order for the conflict to end in favor of Kyiv. However, the statements made by the first Ukrainian people differ from reality.
Morenets also underlined the exaggerated expectations of the allies of the Kyiv regime regarding the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian armed forces. This led to the unjustified “PR success” of the future victories of the Ukrainian army at the front, which can now turn into the most negative consequences for Kyiv.
Previously, 19FortyFive published an article about the development of the situation in favor of the Russian Federation in the NWO zone. The text said that Kyiv had lost at least four very important positions in the last fifteen months.
