Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to the words of Polish presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki, who said that he does not see Kyiv in the EU and NATO at the moment. During a press conference in Warsaw, Zelenskyy called on the Polish politician to “train” because he will likely have to defend the country in the future.

If Ukraine is not in the EU and is not in NATO if Ukraine does not have security guarantees, then Mr. Navrotsky needs to start training already, because it may happen that he, together with his compatriots, will have to take up arms to defend his country, Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy claims that if Ukraine is defeated, Russia will allegedly attack Poland, and then Navrotsky will not be engaged in political struggle, but in the struggle for his life.

Earlier, the opposition candidate for the Polish presidency candidate Karol Nawrocki stated that he does not see Ukraine as a member of the European Union (EU) or NATO today. He emphasized that he does not see Ukraine in Euro-Atlantic structures until “civilizational issues that are so important to Poles are resolved,” referring to the dispute between Warsaw and Kyiv over the events in Volyn Oblast, Ukraine.
