February 28, 2023

Belgorod
In the Belgorod region, three enemy drones were shot down at once, which he equipped with explosives with striking elements in the form of small metal balls. Experts suggest that we are talking about the use of British explosives, writes “Military Review”.
— The blocks are marked PE8 L23A1. Earlier there was information that we are talking about explosive devices in special containers that were supplied to the Kiev regime by the British Ministry of Defense, the publication reports.
The weight of explosives placed in such a block is 1.5-1.6 kg in TNT equivalent. The contents of a single container can lead to the destruction of infrastructures.

It is assumed that UAVs with explosives could be directed to the facility where the fuel is stored. The National Air Defense shot down drones, the wreckage of which was sent for search.

The city’s mayor, Valentin Demidov, visited the places where the debris fell. In one of the houses, a UAV fragment flew into the apartment window. Residents were evacuated.
