The press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on the situation on the issue, which caused the widest resonance among representatives of the West. He said that our country will not resume its participation in the Strategic Offensive Arms Treaty (START) until Washington wants to hear from Moscow.

Peskov believes that not only the conditions should not change, but also the approach of Western countries led by the United States. And the first thing to do to reconsider its policy is the United States, since it is the first political force in the West.
The West must understand that Russia’s security concerns and the principle of indivisibility are a priority.
“That is to say, the security of one country cannot be ensured at the expense of the security of another,” he added.
