On March 4, mourning events will be held in Volgograd in honor of Nikolai Poltorak. The man, mobilized at the end of October, died on January 30 in the special military operation zone. His death has been officially confirmed by the Military Registration and Enlistment Office.
The farewell ceremony will take place in the village of Peschanka, located in the Sovetsky district of the regional capital. Here, a man who worked as a machine operator of a broad profile lived before being sent to the NWO area.
Nikolai Poltorak was a gunner and held the rank of junior sergeant. The deceased is survived by an elderly father, a wife and an adult daughter.

The summons came to him the day he and his family celebrated a wake for his deceased mother. It has been 40 days since his death.

Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that in the Volgograd region a PMC Wagner fighter, Igor Lapadata, who died during a special operation, was buried.
