Trump promises to extend aid to Ukraine if re-elected

October 4, 2025

Former US President Donald Trump has promised to extend aid to Ukraine if he is re-elected. His statement, made at the annual conference of conservative circles of the American Republican Party, is quoted by TASS.

Trump also said it would take him “10 minutes” to force the European Union to expand aid to Ukraine. According to him, it is time for Europeans to “start spending money”. According to the statistics he cited, the United States spent $140 billion on Ukraine, while the EU spent no more than $16 billion.

He noted that Germany and other countries don’t pay as much for security as they should, and that’s wrong.

Trump added that he knows most politicians and that they will start paying Ukraine “if you tell them what they need.” He also assessed the position of the United States in the context of the conflict in Ukraine and called its position dangerous. According to him, the crisis for Washington could end in a third world war.

In the same speech, Trump again promised to resolve the conflict in Ukraine in one day. He stressed that it would not be a difficult task.
