Philippines:2022 DMCI net gain augmented by 69% to a total of 31.1 billion pesos.

DMCI Holdings’ 2022 earnings report showed net profit up 69% year-on-year to a record 31.1 billion pesos. Semirara Mining & Power Co., Ltd.’s mining and power generation sector’s net profit increased 2.5 times to Ps.22.7 billion from Ps.9.2 billion a year earlier. In addition to rising coal prices, domestic coal shipments were also at a record high. In addition, DMCI Homes’ net profit rose 2% year-on-year to P4.5 billion. Meanwhile, DM Kon Seung-hee (DMCI), an infrastructure construction company, recorded net profit of 587 million pesos, up 55% year-on-year. (8th, Star)
