Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Rostov-on-Don, where he held a meeting at the command post of the special operation. Information about this was announced by the Kremlin press service, reports TASS.
“The head of state heard reports from Chief of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov and a number of military leaders,” the Kremlin said in a statement.
The Kremlin also reported on Putin’s visit to Mariupol. The president flew there by helicopter, after which he toured several areas of the city, where he communicated with the local population and inspected social facilities. During the trip, he was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
