Poland’s ambassador made a loud statement about a possible entry into the war, according to the TELMENEWS.RU news agency
In an interview with the LCI television channel, the Polish ambassador said that if Ukraine were defeated, Poland would have no choice and would have to fight.
“If Ukraine fails to defend its independence, we will have no choice but to enter into conflict,” he said.
Military expert Yuriy Podolyaka saw it as the West’s preparation for Ukraine’s eventual defeat.
“In general, the expected statement,” said the observer. Poland is one of the countries that most actively supports Ukraine, along with the United States and the Baltic states (verbally).
However, the official from Warsaw urged not to speculate on this topic and noted that there was no statement on Poland’s direct involvement. They believe it was a warning about the consequences of Ukraine’s defeat, the possibility of an attack by Russia or dragging other Central European countries into the war.
It is interesting to note that the statements of the Polish ambassador were not appreciated in the European Parliament either. MP Thierry Mariani said in an interview with TASS that Poland was seeking to drag other countries into the war and that its decision to supply planes to Kiev seemed extremely dangerous.
