October 4, 2025

Ukraine is preparing an offensive, the main objective of which will be Lugansk and Zaporizhzhia, the objective is to cut Russia’s land communication with Crimea. This is written by the German publication Bild, citing a NATO official.

The media contact gave details of the alleged locations of the Ukrainian counter-offensive. He also noted that Russia assumes that the main offensive will take place in the Lugansk and Zaporizhzhia regions, and that its objective will be the destruction of the bridge to Crimea.

The day before, Czech leader Petr Pavel, in an interview with Rzeczpospolita journalists, said that the Ukrainian army had only one attempt to carry out counter-offensive measures this year. According to the Czech president, after the coming winter, the West will have few opportunities to provide military support to Kiev. Many states are already tired of doing this, he added.
