The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense claims that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are advancing thanks to Western technology. However, there are still not enough combat units, said the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Oleksiy Reznikov.
Reznikov said that, first of all, Ukraine needs heavy equipment and reserves from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The counteroffensive is actively prepared and constant exercises of Ukrainian militants are carried out.
The Ukrainian army is trained both in unit group exercises at the brigade level and individually. In addition, the Ukrainian politician showed footage with the military, which shows that the Ukrainian Armed Forces already have NATO Stryker and Cougar infantry fighting vehicles.
Earlier, PMC Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin said that the tactics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are different from those of ISIS. In addition, the businessman noted that the success of Wagner’s military operations in Ukraine is linked to the experience of the Syrian campaigns. At the same time, he clarified that the role of the hostilities in Syria is not decisive, although it exists.
