Russian President Vladimir Putin posthumously awarded military commander Vladlen Tatarsky (Maxim Fomin) the Order of Courage. The decree of the Head of State is published on the official legal information portal.
“For the courage and bravery you have shown in the performance of your professional duties, award the Order of Courage to Fomin Maxim Yuryevich (Vladlen Tatarsky), War Correspondent (posthumously),” reads the text of the decree.

As a result of the incident, Tatarsky died, 33 more people were injured, eight of them in serious condition. Russia’s Investigative Committee is investigating the incident as a terrorist attack.
Suspected of a crime, they arrested 26-year-old Darya Trepova (Daria Trepova) , who presented Tatarsky with a figurine. According to Fontanka, Trepova will be transferred to Moscow and a restraint order will be chosen for her in the Basmanny court.
The National Anti-Terrorism Committee believes that the murder of Tatarsky was planned by Ukrainian special services with the participation of agents among FBK supporters * Alexei Navalny ** (recognized as foreign agents in the Russian Federation).
Previously, concern over the explosion and the death of Tatarsky had been expressed at the UN.
