Russia and the United States are in the hot phase of the war, while Washington is supplying arms to Kiev, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.
“We are really in the hot phase of the war, because the Ukrainian Nazis are fighting mainly with American weapons, and the American administration threatens every time to supply more and more long-range and deadly systems. But relations, I think, have to be maintained,” he said in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin.
The Russian foreign minister added that relations between the two countries must be maintained, and Moscow hopes that Washington will wake up to reason and that dialogue will resume.
Earlier, Lavrov said that Russia views the European Union as a hostile association.
