Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin will hand in his government’s resignation to President Sauli Niinista on April 6. This was reported in the head of state’s office.
It is assumed that the current cabinet of ministers will continue to perform technical functions until mid-summer. This is when a new government should be formed.
Remember that last Sunday, April 2, parliamentary elections were held in Finland. They were won by the right-wing opposition National Coalition Party.
The second place was taken by the True Finns party. And Prime Minister Sanna Marin’s Social Democratic Party is in third place.
