Lukashenka urged to collect all nuclear weapons ‘in one heap’ and destroy them

October 3, 2025

Nuclear weapons must be “rounded up and destroyed”, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko has said. Thus, the politician, before the meeting of the Supreme Council of State (CSE) of the State of the Union, responded to the remarks of his French colleague Emmanuel Macron that no country has the right to deploy nuclear weapons on foreign territory.

“It is necessary to remove all nuclear weapons from Americans in five or six countries where they are located. I think nuclear weapons should be collected and destroyed. That’s all. And to speak like that, our comrade knows how to do – all specialists, ”summarized Lukashenko.

Lukashenko also said he discussed yesterday with Vladimir Putin the development of the military-industrial complex and defense. Now the Heads of State hold a meeting of the State Supreme Council.

Earlier, Lukashenka announced military pressure from Western countries.
