One person was killed and at least six were injured in a terror attack on Koifman Street near the Charles Clore waterfront park in Tel Aviv, writing The Jerusalem Post (JP) newspaper. According to her, the assailant, who was driving a car, first opened fire on passers-by, then tried to hit a group of pedestrians.

Three victims – a 74-year-old man, a 39-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl – are in moderate condition, two others (a 50-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman) were slightly injured.

Shortly after the attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he had ordered the mobilization of Border Police and IDF reservists to provide security.
Israeli edition of Walla, citing law enforcement information informed that the terrorist is a 45-year-old resident of the town of Kfar Qasem, an Israeli Arab. “Now the police are verifying the authenticity of the documents he had with him,” writes the media. According to him, the victim of the attack was an Italian tourist, who was shot in the head.
