Yuri Moiseev congratulated the employees of the Kaluga military commissariat

In Kaluga, the head of municipal self-government Yuri Moiseev congratulated the employees of the military commissariat. In 2023, military commissariats in Russia will be 105 years old, the press service of the Kaluga City Duma reported on Monday, April 10.

Together with the head of the city government, Dmitry Denisov, mayor of Kaluga, and Andrei Ivanov, military commissar of Kaluga, congratulated the employees of the military commissariat on an important date.

“You successfully accomplish the most difficult tasks, making an enormous contribution to guaranteeing our country’s defense capability. You work reliably, responsibly, competently, provide comprehensive assistance to veterans and families of victims,” Moiseev said, noting that the special military operation proved the importance of the work of commissariats.

Moiseev wished everyone success, health, peace and prosperity.

Staff at the Military Registration and Enlistment Office received medals and certificates of honor.

On April 8, 1918, the Council of People’s Commissars of the RSFSR adopted the “Decree on the establishment of volost, district, provincial and district commissariats for military affairs”. During the year, 7 district, 39 provincial, 385 county and 7,000 volost military commissariats were established in the Soviet Republic.
