Lukashenka asked Russia to guarantee the protection of Belarus as its territory

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has asked Russia for a guarantee that it will defend his country as if it were its own territory. He said this during a conversation with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. The video of the negotiations was provided by the Pool of the First Telegram channel.

It sounded during the talks (earlier with Putin – editor’s note) in such a way that in the event of aggression against Belarus, the Russian Federation defends Belarus as its own territory”, Lukashenka said during a conversation with Shoigu.

According to Lukashenka, the Russian leader supported him “in all directions”.
