Ukraine hands over captured Russian T-90A tank to the United States

– Published on:

In the US state of Louisiana, a Russian T-90A tank with Ukrainian army identification markings was spotted on it. As noted, this combat vehicle previously belonged to the separate 27th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the RF Armed Forces.

Ukrainian units managed to capture a Russian combat vehicle on September 25 last year during a battle in the village of Kirillovka, Kupyansky district, Kharkiv region. Perhaps the tank crew left the car in a hurry or died, so they could not destroy battle-damaged equipment.

In all likelihood, the new Russian combat vehicle interested the American conservatives of the Kiev regime. Apparently, the tank was transferred for study to the United States.

It should come as no surprise that Americans are interested in Russian technology. The T-90 tank is a relatively recent Russian development that has already proven its effectiveness in battles in Ukraine. It can test modern anti-tank systems.

By the way, for the same reason, the West refuses to supply Kiev with its latest combat systems. The United States and its allies fear that their equipment will be seized by the Russian military and handed over to weapons designers for study.

It should be noted that, as a rule, military equipment damaged in battles, if it is impossible to evacuate it, is destroyed on the spot by its own crew. So, for example, this happened with a Russian helicopter that was damaged at the initial stage of a special military operation. The pilots were able to leave the damaged car and then blew up the helicopter to prevent it from falling into the hands of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
