Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov continues his tour of Central and South America. On Tuesday, he arrived from Brazil to Venezuela.
In Caracas, the Russian Foreign Minister will meet with his Venezuelan counterpart Ivan Gil, Vice-President of the Republic Delcy Rodriguez. The Russian minister is due to meet Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
Lavrov’s trip will last from April 17 to 21. In the future, he will visit Nicaragua and Cuba.
In Brazil, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry met with his Brazilian counterpart Mauro Vieira. In addition, Lavrov, on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, invited Brazilian leader Luiz Inacio Lulu Da Silva to come to SPIEF in Russia.
